Good news! The temperature is starting to warm up and one of these days is time to ride without the fear of frost bite! Our next upcoming event is the 6th Gauteng Breakfast Run on the 15th of August from X-rated bikes to Premier Hotel Cullinan. Please submit the survey form (if you havent done so yet) on the zx14.mobi site to indicate your attendance or not (just to make the admin and logistics easier!)
Johan Pretorius is also busy with the planning phase of the 1st Vaal Triangle Breakfast Run scheduled for the 21st of November. All members of course welcome to join! More detail to follow in the next few months.
In July Freddie visit Leon Taljaard from Greytown (see attached pic) and we are in the process of setting up the KZN region as well - so watch this space, runs soon to be finalized! Good luck and thank you, Leon!
If there is anyone in the Cape region willing to assist with handling ZX14 Owners of SA breakfast runs there, please contact Freddie 083 250 8926
Please feel free to share any ideas, comments, and concerns on our forum on zx14.mobi or by emailing any contributions to me (Sandra Club Secretary).
If you have sold your ZX14 bike in the meantime, please be so kind to let us know. We have sent out numerous requests for owner + bike pics to be send as confirmation, but have received little feedback thus far. If we dont receive any communication from you, we will have to unsubscribe you from our ZX14 Owners of SA newsletter and updates due to budget restraints. Please ignore this if you have already sent me a pic/communication in this regard.
Sandra, once again thank you for getting the strings together of our ZX14 Owners Club of SA. The results are already to be noticed. May I again rely on members to submit piccies to Sandra as requested above? It really assists us in keeping good record and to maintain a proper database. We also use the pics to verify ZX14 owners and to prevent unsolicited access from unknown persons and to prevent spam in our website and also to establish some sort of security by safeguarding our database. It is not a big deal and should be uncomplicated where possible.
I always said that we want to be different and one difference will be the recognition method for ZX14 owners who attended the major ZX14 breakfast runs. We are currently busy to establish a method of recognition, including a branded type of gift. We will most probably explain this in more detail already with the ZX14 owners who are going to attend our Gauteng 6th ZX14 breakfast run to Cullinan.
I had the opportunity to visit Leon Taljaard about two weeks ago. Thank you to Leon for being able and willing to take the lead in KZN. Sandra will be in touch with Leon to assist him to get things going for Zx14 owners in KZN.
I am excited about the upcoming 1st. Vaal Triangle zx14 breakfast run. Looking into the matter, it is to be noticed that they are a big contingent already of close to seven or more registered zx14s in that area.
